Liphook is a village in North East Hampshire, England. 1st Liphook Scout Group is part of the worldwide scouting movement and is a member of the Scout Association in the UK. We are one of the largest and most active Scout groups in Hampshire (Petersfield District). We have over 200 members across our Beavers, Cub, Scout and Explorer sections.
We run three Beaver colonies (6-8 years old), three Cub packs (8-11 years), two Scout troops (11-14 years) and an Explorer unit (14-18 years). You can find out more about our sections using the boxes below.
Scouting in the Liphook and Bramshott area dates back as far as 1908. Founded by Sir Bertram Sackville Thesiger as 1st Bramshott Scout Troop, Scouting in the Liphook area has expanded significantly since then. 1st Liphook Scouts was formed in 1972, and over the last 50+ years we have helped prepare thousands of young people with skills for life.
Liphook Scouts wear a red and yellow scarf. Our group badge has seven main elements, to depict the area we live in.
With the help of a great team of volunteer leaders, Liphook Scout Group offers an extensive range of fantastic activities and opportunities for young people. From Air Rifling and Archery to Camping and Canoeing, 1st Liphook has something for everyone!

Liphook Scouts is a charity organisation and is supported by a Trustee Board that plays a vital role in the running of the Scout group. It makes decisions, carries out administrative tasks and supports the section leaders to ensure that the best quality scouting can be delivered to our young people.
We operate our own minibus that gives us the flexibility to take part in various activities and events with ease. All our drivers are trained and regularly assessed to recognised standards to ensure the safe operation of the minibus.
