L.S.G.A.C – The Chris Blackaby “Robin Hood” Award for Outstanding Achievement

On Sunday 7th February, whilst shooting at our weekly Liphook Scout Group Archery Club meeting, those present had the fortune to witness a real “Robin Hood”.

Whilst shooting at a Playing Card Target, Chris Blackaby shot an arrow into an Ace and then promptly followed it up with an arrow that split his nock and went directly into the end of the first arrow!

This is a rare occurrence, and one that not every archery has the opportunity to witness!!

It therefore, seems only appropriate that this momentous occasion, should be the foundation for an award to recognize an Outstanding Achievement in Archery at Liphook Scout Group Archery Club – to be known as the Chris Blackaby “Robin Hood” award for outstanding achievement.
